Who we are
Maclivaro Ltd is a recruitment consultancy, registered in England and Wales with company number 16078163. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

What we collect
If you send us an enquiry, we keep what you give us: your name, email address, company, phone number and your message.
If you are looking for a role, we keep:
- your name, contact details and location
- your current or target role
- your CV, and what is in it, such as your work history and qualifications
- notes from our conversations with you, and feedback from interviews we arrange
- where we approach you about a role, information from your public professional profile, such as LinkedIn
Please do not send us sensitive information, such as health details, unless we ask for it for a specific reason.
Why we use it, and our lawful bases
- To reply to enquiries and run searches for clients. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a recruitment business and answering the people who contact us.
- To help you find work. When you ask us to help you find a role, we use your information to take steps at your request before a contract, and in our legitimate interests.
- Consent, where it is relevant. For example, we ask before we put you forward for a specific role. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We share your details with a prospective employer only when you have agreed to us putting you forward for a specific role.
We also use service providers to run our email, file storage and website, including the form you may have used to contact us. They handle your information on our instructions. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep candidate information for as long as needed to help you find work, and we review records at least every two years. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with the enquiry and any work that follows, and we review those records on the same basis.
International transfers
We recruit for clients in the UK, Europe and the US. If you agree to be put forward for a role with an employer outside the UK, such as in the US, your details will go to that employer. Where information leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law provides for, or on your explicit consent to that transfer.
This website
The contact forms on this site are processed by our website host. They use Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam, which collects information about your browser and device and is covered by Google's privacy policy. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it, or to delete it
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
- ask for it in a portable format
- withdraw your consent, where we rely on it

Complaints
